coffee stain
Someone could at least say hi or something...I never really liked coffee anyways.and maybe you'll invite me in this time.and I never saw you again until sometime in April,but you just gave me a vague smile and kept walking and we never went out for coffee again,and I never figured out what I said on New Years Evethat made you stop talking,but now I'm wearing the periwinkle shirt again and I'm hoping that I'll run into you,and maybe you'll give me enough time to ask you out for a cup of coffee,and you held my hand as we walked down the street even though you didn't even know my name,and I was wearing my periwinkle shirt again so you asked me if periwinkle was my favourite colour,and I told you I hated it and you looked at me funny so I changed the subject, but you didn't say much after that and you didn't invite me in when I walked you home I wore the periwinkle shirt with the dark stain,from way back last August when you spilled your coffee on me as I opened the door,and I wondered why you were drinking coffee on such a hot and humid day,but you only apologized and hurried on your way,and I never saw you again until New Years Eve,at a party thrown by a friend of a friend,and you smiled and asked me out for coffee,
